Pilates is a great total body workout for anyone any age. Beginning a Pilates program will build long, lean muscles without adding bulk as well as condition the CORE stabilizers from the inside out. Building a strong core affects your ENTIRE BODY in that it not only supports your internal organs, but it also holds up and protects your spine. When your core is strong it does its job by carrying the weight of your body, taking the work load off of your joints. MOST BACK PAIN IS CAUSED BY A WEAK CORE! Building muscle in the place of fat raises your resting metabolic rate. Like any weight resistance exercise it is most beneficial to try and fit it into your schedule at least twice a week. For optimal health your pilates program should be accompanied by a cardio exercise and a balanced diet.

where you will learn to create functional pieces that are "thrown" on
the wheel. Hand-building classes are offered for those who just want to sculpt!

to last a lifetime! Have a Boy Scout? Bring your troop for our certified merit
badge counselor to teach the joy of pottery and sculpture!
